Her dream is to expand the YGA philosophy all over the World starting from Torino, the city she has chosen to live from more 30 years. She has a scientific background as an environmental engineer and covered for more that 20 years the CEO role of an International numerical modelling and consultancy company. She is enthusiastic to follow startups as Business Angel.


Francesco Laio

Board Member, Co-Founder

Environmental engineer by training, he found his place in the world as a professor of hydrology at the Polytechnic of Turin. Overcoming his natural agnostic attitude, he recognizes the propulsive and visionary power of YGA. He would like to contribute to YGA by promoting an “egoless leaders” approach to work and career among the youngest.


Deniz Akalın

Board Member, Co-Founder

Born and raised in Turkey, but a true citizen of the world, Deniz has pursued her university studies in the United States and has been in Italy for the past 10 years. Her varied and international work experience include responsibilities in sales and marketing, business development and events at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in Istanbul and Christie’s auction house in Geneva. Deniz has merged her studies in architecture and management and her work experience as stepping stones to her creative consulting career. She is currently Head of International Projects at Milan-based design firm VMaison.

Eclectic and meticulous, sensitive and determined, Deniz puts all her experience at the service of YGA, with the aim of ensuring that her global vision and attention to detail are an inspiration to all those who will approach this extraordinary project.

Marco Rossi


Birth in Lombardia Region, from Turin for a long time, he has been a Civil Lawyer for almost 40 years with a prevalent activity in the Labor Law that he carries out and has carried out in various professional contexts.

Cultivates various cultural and social interests through Associations such as:

100x100 Readers, active within the Turin Readers Club, MUS-E Turin (integration project in schools through Art), Article 10 (reception of refugee women and families), Community of Madian Orizzonti (reception of weak groups).

His project, through these associations, and now with YGA ITALY, is to contribute to the ethical improvement of the social context with particular attention to young people.

Maurizia Rebola


From Turin, for five years at the head of the Circolo dei Lettori Foundation and in the last two years at the head of the Turin International Book Fair. An influential cultural manager with an inexhaustible passion for books and all the world around them. Over the years she has consolidated her leadership in the field of cultural events by developing the first Independent Design Festival in Italy.

During her experience she has also collaborated with Youman.com as head of relations with NPOs and NGOs, leading to the financing of important humanitarian projects curated by associations such as Amref, WWF, Amnesty International, Nessuno tocchi Caino. An all-round training and commitment in the field, from personal passion for a project, a book, an idea, to its transformation into original content, in reproducible and exportable formats: innovation,rather than technology, is cultural.


Giorgia Trevisan

Giorgia Trevisan, in love with the YGA project and thoughts.

Born in Turin, with a degree in literature and philosophy, she is an expert in advertising and communication: she has worked in positions of responsibility at the Gruppo Editoriale Espresso, Mediaset / Publitalia, currently Mediamond / Mondadori. As a mother, woman and professional she believes it is an honor and a duty to support young people who will be called to change the world.
